The tagline in the image states “This is not a pipe.” The image clearly shows what we assume to be a pipe. In reality, it is just an assemblage of wood, plastic, and metal. Or even further, all that one sees is an assemblage of colored pixels on a computer screen. These assemblages signify what we know to be a pipe.
